Last night 28th March, saw the Great Racing Tournament at DIS. One of the students organised a car racing LAN competition. Students competed against each other on a race track and tried to set the fastest lap. Almost 20 students took turns racing against each other to record the fastest laps on circuits designed by RD and Ezekiel. They then progressed through to the quarter and semi finals, and more challenging courses - especially Ezekiel's dreaded maze!!.
Finally, just before 8pm we had the Grand finale with Ali, Julik and Mudassir. It was a very close race and Ali came out victorious. Julik was a close second and Mudassir in third place.
It was sponsored by two companies here : prizes were donated by
Plugins Electronics (and also
Mr Bastable), and snacks for the hungry competitors were provided by
Spinney's.
In total 450Dhs was raised - well done organisers!
