What events could be considered as Community Service?

Here is a list of some ideas which might be considered Community Service (CS) :
(these are real examples of things that some of my students did in a previous school)

• a recycling group
• working with an orphanage
• teaching special needs children from CRP to swim
• events at a local slum school
• helping with the Utsho Fun Day for underpriveleged children
• one student did a sponsored fast to raise money for a child in an orphanage who needs a CT brain scan
• teaching students of a local slum school to use computers
• a Student - Teacher - Parent soccer tournament on a weekend
• having a movie evening for CRP
• teaching some of the orphanage children to swim
• a cultural evening for local people
• a sponsored walk
