Events

A list of CS events that are happening at DISD.

End of April - we are going to have a book fair/sale of reading books donated by students. At the minute we are receiving books from students who are handing them into the library which is our collection point. They will then be sold for 10 Dhs each (date of fair to be confirmed).

01/04/06 - The CS team is going to be working with Mrs Proctor - the school librarian - to encourage students to donate any old books they have at home, so that we can sell them to raise some money for Community Service.

21/03/06 - we are selling tickets for a raffle draw to help K9 friends - 5 tickets (and a free brownie) for 10 Dhs.

International Day 10/05/06 - we are planning a large event for International Day where we will show all the different nationalities of the students who attend the school.

Here you will be able to find a list of events which are upcoming at DISD - at the moment, I am still working on developing contacts here within the local community. In the next few months we will be inviting people into the school to chat to our students to explain what organisations they are working with.
